Regular exercise and a balanced diet
The last few weeks have seen a number of disturbing revelations from the diet sector where a number of "quick weight loss" plans have been linked to premature deaths and health issues. While there is no way to directly link these "quick weight loss" plans to a number of deaths over the last few months, the official coroner has in many cases refused to rule out a number of diets, some of which have seen calorie counts as low as 500 per day.

Despite the fact that doctors and dieticians keep highlighting the fact that a balanced diet and regular exercise is the key to a healthy future, more and more people, especially those approaching their wedding day, appear willing to take more risks than ever before. There was one lady in particular who lost three stones in a very short space of time although she collapsed prior to her wedding and ultimately died. This should be a stark warning to those who are looking for quick and painless weight loss scheme because they do not exist!
If you are looking to improve your health and your overall fitness it is vital that you take into account your long-term requirements and built a dietary plan and exercise plan around these. Those who take the chance of losing significant amounts of weight in a very short space of time are literally playing with fire because it can cause serious health issues and unfortunately in some cases premature death!
